Default problems with sync

Please Login to Remove!

hi i am new here so hope i am in the right spot.
i am running windows 7 and have downloaded the new version of desktop manager. all has been well until yesterday. when i synced it updated BB software and eliminated all my calendar entries from my outlook 2007 desktop.
I discovered that in addition to the default email it had created another email. i have tried to sync from BB to desk because all the calendar appt.s are on the BB didn't work. When I sync it does the contacts and then it starts to do the calendar, says one minute please and then stops syncing and returns to the desktop manager. Tried to export from the .pst files but that didn't do a thing.
did a hard reboot. no change. reloaded the desktop software no change.
and that is why i am lost in hamilton.
any ideas? I am on Bell and it is a home network.
thanks
Update. I discovered i was missing the CICC? file with my email address so i resent the service books did a hard reset and it synced but did not show up on outlook 2007

Ok. First thing, check options > advanced options > default services and make sure the default calendar (CICAL) is set to same as default messaging (CMIME). They must be set to same thing for sync with Outlook. And Outlook will only sync with the one calendar that is set as default on the device.

Check that and fix if necessary, and try again.

Desktop manager does not sync messages with Outlook. You know that right? Are you saying messages are showing up on the device but not being downloaded by Outlook? If so, you have something going on with your Outlook setup. Not a desktop manager or device issue.

Check the sync setup options in desktop manager. Go through everything, but in particular look for the settings for the number of days past and days future to sync. That may be your problem.

Default more info

in the default calendars on the bb there is a default with 1050 entries and an email with 350 entries. so it is syncing with the 350 entries and not the 1050 entries which is what shows on the calendar on the bb (no missing entries) So i want to sync with the default and not the email (even though i only have one email address. that is the challenge!
