BEIKS updates Color Lines for BlackBerry, announces support for BlackBerry Bold and BlackBerry 8220 Pearl Flip

DALLAS (Sep 11, 2008) - - BEIKS updates its popular game Color Lines to support the latest BlackBerry models - BlackBerry 9000 aka BlackBerry Bold and the BlackBerry 8220 aka BlackBerry Flip Shell.

Pilot Lines is a simple and addictive game of skill and luck. Originally designed in Russia in the 80s, it has become so popular it is likely available for any desktop and mobile platform by now.

It is also one of the best selling games in the BEIKS catalog for all mobile platforms.

The new release comes shortly after the official announcement of the BlackBerry 9000 series and literally a day after the public presentation of the first BlackBerry Flip Shell phone ever - the BlackBerry 8220.

Both phones are frontiers of what is likely to be two separate BlackBerry model lines - the 9000 and the 8200 respectively. Among other distinct features they have unique display characteristics not used by other BlackBerry phones to date.

Electronic games are particularly sensitive to display resolution as it greatly affects both what can be present to the user and how it can be present, reflecting in turn the game appeal to the player.

Pilot Lines was updated to support the two new resolutions - the Bold's full blon VGA (640x480) and the 8220's portrait quarter VGA (240x320).

The game can be downloaded from blackberry.beiks.com (through desktop host) and mobile.beiks.com (direct BlackBerry download).

Updating is free to registered users and everyone else is invited to either play Russian Roulette during the game or pay $10.00 for non-interrupting, safe game.
