Not sure, but you could try installing taking the .alx file I wrote and copy down those three files into a directory and see if you can install it on your Nextel. Not sure if there's any newer API's in the 4.0.2.32 code that allows this or they just built it on existing code, etc.
If you can obtain the .cod files you can then load them on any blackberry - it seems you'll want to use these ones with color blackberry handhelds only however.
little alx or javaloader playing around is all you need.
net_rim_bb_qm_peer_mono.cod is used for B&W, although i'm not sure which OS its available to be downloaded from, if any. and there are different languages available, but again, i'm not sure where you can download those yet.

Can cofirm it works on Nextel 7520. Very cool app.
For other Nextel 7520 users ....
I downloaded the zip files above, loaded with javaloader, then used application loader to load the .alx file. I had to remove the battery before it showed up in my ribbon. I was leery of using javaloader at first, but it all installed with no trouble.
If you get it up and running feel free to add me as a contact.
thanx soapm, your files installed like a charm on my 7250. got it working right away, so much better than sending one pin at a time with the trackwheel!
