If anyone is still looking to get one of the docks in the pic above they are on sale at company onwned T-Mobile stores for $10 or $13. Both Pearl and Curve. San Francisco stores at least, not sure of other areas.
Question about this Dock, I just received mine today from Crackberry.com for my Verizon Curve 8330. The RIM Website says that this Dock has 2-LED Lites which tell u if it is charging or charged. Unless I am looking at a different RIM product, the RIM logo lites up white on mine up when I plug it into the wall and stays lit, I have yet to see a 2nd lite color. Here is the RIM website :
I use this one from Seido. It fits the BB with or without a skin/case. There are times that I decide I want my case/skin on and this will accommodate it and vice versa. Comes with a A/C and USB charger too.

I have the same one and the BB logo stays lit and doesn't change colors. I wouldn't worry about it. Probably just a typo. BTW: I have the VZW 8330 as well.
