So far I like my 9900, but I have a problem. When replying or creating a txt message I find that when I hit the del button or the k, l buttons the txt gets sent, even though I am not done with it.

Do I need to replace the keypad?

The device is damaged, and replacing the keypad may not fix it as the damage is likely on the circuit board, which you cannot replace.
