I can play videos and music on my Samsung Smart TV via my wifi home network without any problems.

I have read somewhere that smart phones can also connect via the home network in a similar manner. Can this be done with the BB Torch . . . and if so, how?

with OS 7.1 you can enable wifi file sharing, I have not tested it with videos on my Torch yet as I use my playbook for this mostly.

Maybe some one has tried it out.
