Only because I am special. That only applies to my Curve, which was a free device from Verizon, and all service on it is paid by them. My pearls are always in a leather sleeve.

I found the Ipod/Zune screen protectors to be a very nice accommodation to my device. It is much thicker than traditional devices and they typically outlast the device if applied correctly.

Hm, some interesting methods you guys go as far as protecting your blackberry.

I have had my Curve since February and the screen does NOT have any scratch on it except for it being slightly oily. It has almost always been in the FoneGear holster that I have here. I have only recently (since July 26th or so) used the Cellet red shell case to protect the Curve even further. (One thing of note: I do not have the belt clip attached to it, so it does look a little bit weird without it, but it's ok with me anyway.)

It goes in my FoneGear holster like a glove, except for the fact that the Velcro is a little bit annoying.

To purchase the Cellet Shell Case:
FRYS.com | Cellet

FoneGear Holster... just go to your NEAREST Walmart. They have it. They're cheap too! I wouldn't exactly recommend it but if you need fast, cheap and easily disposable holster, this is it! ;)

But Wait! There's nothing more to look at here... really!

I tried that but I was having problems typing out emails so I had to take it out.

I use the Seidio hard-case for my 8320. It's worked great since I got it.

I prefer a naked BB so no BB condoms or hard cases for me. A nice holster keeps things in good shape though -- much better than shaking around in your pocket with keys and other metal objects.

Aviator (or other brand) form-fitted in-use case, Seidio pre-cut screen protector and a NECK LANYARD! Never worry about scratching it, dropping it, losing it, forgetting it or fumbling around your purse or pocket for it -- EVER!

I've always used Best Skins Ever and left it at that. I rarely ever drop it...until last monday when I dislocated my shoulder. I've dropped it at least 10 times since. Now I'm thinking of looking for a new shell and a hard case.

Dust under the screen isn't an issue for me or something I'd freak out over.

I am, however, OCD about scratches. Some people are neurotic. You just have to allow for that.

I have an Invisible Shield screen protector on my Curve. I've also used a Fortte glove fit leather case but that only lasted a couple weeks as it was too difficult to type on due to the plastic completely covering the phone's face.

Lately I've been going back and forth between a black OEM silicone skin and a Seidio hybrid case which I've had since last summer when I got my first Curve.

People I sell my phones to appreciate that I have taken good care of my phones and I typically charge less than most others when selling a phone. It's good karma for me to take good care of a phone because I don't keep most phones very long -- though the red Curve is on eight months now -- so I know my phones will have a second rotation at some point. As a frequent buyer and seller of phones, it's good to have the reputation that I have.
