Default Never Pass Your BlackBerry Around at a Party!

Please Login to Remove!

For the lazy, cliffs provided at the bottom.

After a day of snowboarding, we decided to have a little get together. One of my buddy's GF kept calling me asking for him (since he doesn't know how to pay his phone bills, his service has been disconnected for a while now.) Well, I hand the phone to him and after he's done talking, that's when some other people started checking out my BlackBerry. Passed around here and there and switching from hand to hand and by the end of the night I find my phone which was on the pool table with a little beer splashed on the screen! But that's not the worst part, oh no.. The next morning when I pulled out my phone I find some scratches along the top edge !!!!

I've had my phone for about 3 months and not a scratch until that night! Those aren't just any scratches you get from dropping the phone either.. the place was carpetted and tiled so you can't get deep scratches like that. Some idiot must have thought that a BlackBerry would make a great bottle opener! I've matched up the scratches to bottle cap and there is no mistake that someone tried to use my BlackBerry as a bottle opener. BLACKBERRIES DON'T MAKE GREAT BOTTLE OPENERS!!!

Just had to share my story and pain with you guys...

/End of rant

The rule around the guys I work with is never to leave your Berry sitting around. Last guy to do that ended up "sending" an e-mail to the CEO of the company, resigning his position.

CEO thought it was hilarious. My friend didn't.

At parties, Berry moves from holster to pocket. He'd of used my Berry with me in his ear and you can look but don't touch.

It was like that at 1st but then his gf called about 7 more times after that... If only I was smart enough to shut off the Berry.

I like that commercial where the guys hide the lady's BB, and then it starts ringing in the pocket of one of them while they are laughing at her looking for it.....heck, I don't even know what was advertised, but funny commercial.
