I have two (2) 1 GB microSD cards that I rotate. I have music on one card and video on the other. I'm thinking about getting a 2 GB card so I don't have to keep rotating them. Just curious how many of you guys use the memory card slot in your Pearl.

Wirelessly posted (Cingular 8100 Pearl: BlackBerry8100/4.2.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)
I ordered and received my 2Gb card before my Pearl.
First thing I ever did with the Pearl was insert the card. Yeah, that was even before putting in the battery for the first time (wink).
Heh.

Are there any prerequisites for using a 2GB card. I remember seeing somewhere that there was? (ie. OS version maybe)

I just got my 1G card from Meritline. The plan is to put all my old funny video clips and MP3s on it. Unfortunately, I have to convert my vids from .WMV first. (ugh)
Anyway, someone had a link up not too long ago for the 1G micro-SD from Meritline and it's a really good deal. $10.95 SHIPPED and it's a Kingston to boot AND comes with the mini-SD carrier to use with a card reader. Pretty good deal IMO. =)
