Default Best price T-Mobile 8700g upgrade out of contract?

Please Login to Remove!

I am currently have been out of contract with T-Mobile for about 6 months now. I am not a corporate customer or multiple phone/plan customer. I can get the basic deal of $349 - $50 rebate = $299 just going into the store and asking. What I want to know is if anyone in the same situation has received a better deal by pushing for it. Claims of switching and such. I read through the other 400+ posts about the other deals people have received, but I didn't see much for current out of contract non corporate customers other than getting one for $299.

The $99.99 Amazon deal for T-Mobile 8700g only applies to new customers. Anyone moving from another service provider will obviously get a better deal than an existing customer in or out of contract.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Get a friend to do the Amazon deal and then transfer the contract into your name.
