Default Using BES with multiple exchange orgs

Please Login to Remove!

Sorry if this is a basic question, I'll admit to being a newbie to BES.

Is it possible to use a single BES for Exchange license & server to access multiple Exchange orgs?

I think the problem I am having is that I can't find a way to point users in BES to a particular MAPI profile for the service to use. It seems to only use the MAPI profile for the user of the service that is running BES - not the profile that it asks you to create with each new user of the BES manager. I can successfully add users from other Exchange Orgs by signing in to BES manager with a user from that trusted domain, build a MAPI profile that points to the correct Exchange server and so on. But they never can activate - the BES server never seems to pick up the email that gets dropped in the users Inbox using remote activation.

I also receive these messages from BES in the event log:

Event ID 45058: DBNS component not installed

Event ID 20154: User <Username here> not started

Where <Username here> = the full name of the user from the trusted domain that I am trying to add.

To be clear, users from the same domain as the service's MAPI profile activate fine.

Is there a trick I can use to tell the service to use a different MAPI profile per user or group of users?

TIA for the help!

BES for Exchange only supports one Exchange organization.

This error message - "Event ID 45058: DBNS component not installed" is benign. The Database Notification System is an optional component to improve performance.

So it's benign, good to know. Is it possible to prevent it from showing up in the event logs? Just trying to remove clutter.

You can access other organisations if you set up trust relationships, but to be fair I'd stay away from that and RIM won't touch it.
