Default Need Some Advise Please! On OS 4.5.0.37

Please Login to Remove!

I just downloaded the OS 4.5.0.37 for my Verizon Curve 8330 that i just bought. The only thing that makes me scared is that there was nothing there that said it was specifically for the 8330, but just for the 8300. Would this include my 8330, is my question? Thank you so much everyone. I wanted thus OS for my emails.

No. You can't install an 8300 OS to the 8330.

Don't load it. AFAIK, the beta software that has been leaked is for GSM devices only.

Mods -- this should be moved to the Beta You Than Me forumn.

You have to download the OS for the specific model. If you try to install it, it wont work.

Like I said over and over again, this is the only place that I know that I can get the best for my BlackBerry. I can't thank you everyone for that information,I could have damaged a good phone. Thanks again.

Wirelessly posted (you serious Clark)

Will it even let you load the 8300 OS onto a 8330?

I am scared to try. I was going to post it if anyone here had seen the new os for the 8330. I just don't want to shell out anymore money because someone from BlackBerry thought the email was just fine, until someone decided to clean it up such as "Empower". I get a lot of email from work and I was hoping to get this new OS because it has an HTML reader according to reports I read.

The new OS for the 8330 hasn't even been leaked yet. I wouldn't hold your breath.
