EDIT: I should have tried the basics before bugging you with this. Pulling the battery does wonders for mystery issues! All fixed (for now).

9630 Bold on Verizon
Version 6.0, Bundle 1741

When I take a photo the saved picture is scrambled:


The image appears to be correct for the three seconds or so after it is taken, but some variation of the above mess when saved.

I have tried changing the various settings (Flash, Autofocus,Geotagging,Scene Modes, Digital Zoom) one at a time but nothing changes. FWIW, video recordings store OK.

The camera used to work, I just noticed this problem yesterday. I don't believe any software or setting have changed.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

EDIT: I also tried removing the SD card and saving the photos directly to the device: no change.
