Hi all,

I have had 4 different 8900 handsets and all 4 have refused to send pictures via MMS whilst on GPRS. I can send contacts or text via MMS but not pictures. My account at Orange allows me unlimited data and MMS facility as they have checked and double checked. I have had numerous level 3 techs trying to sort this out and all to no avail. We have deleted service books, changed firewall, picture settings, browser settings etc etc and still no joy!!

I can send MMS pictures when on UMA/WiFi so I can't understand why GPRS can't? At the Orange shop a member of staff tried to send MMS pictures and that handset also failed to send the MMS picture. I can however receive MMS pictures.

Has anybody an answer ??

Has anybody ever sent on Orange UK a MMS picture that has been delivered using GPRS ?

Or are we all having this problem with Orange ??

Hi there, had the same issues with MMS UK Orange. Orange service and knowledge sucks. Playing around with my phone a tried a process of elimination. I seemed to have cured the issue by changing the options in MMS to untick the box which states 'block anonymous'. Worth a try.
