Is anyone using VZW Tones on the Tour?

I have been using it on and off since it came out for the Curve. I have some credits left and wanted to use them up. Then I'll be back to making my own.

However, I just noticed that if you attempt to use the search part of the software, all of the keys shared with the phone portion of the keypad enter the alternate character instead of the letter. The rest of the keyboard works fine and the keys work properly in all other apps.

Anyone?

I would just try a battery pull. Also maybe delete the app and re-install it?

I have done this before I posted. Found that if you use the shift key you get an upper case letter of what you want. I guess I'll whine to VZW.

If you are moving from say a Pearl to a Curve and use the same app it thinks you still have a Pearl. So the keys you are pressing correct but for the wrong device. You need to uninstall and get the new version for your current phone.

That's not it, I am certain.

Moved from a Curve but I never transfer programs from one device to another, so it is a new, clean installation.

With this device, I also erased my BES profile and started over too. Nearly 8 minute boot time reduced to 4. That would erase all of the stored application permissions and other stuff that would normally try to move over.

Not a huge deal. Just an annoyance. Haven't had a chance to call VZW yet.
