Default Settings for gmail needed

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys, I finally got an email software, courtesy of a fellow forum-mer, but now while I can receive emails, they reflect an earlier list and not the latest one? WTH?

I also try sending mail to no avail?

I followed the instructions here: h ttp://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=13287

Can anybody please right my wrongs?

Gmail App on the Blackberry or Gmail for PC? Yesterday Gmail made some authentication changes and the @gmail.com is no longer needed for the username but that only relates to using Gmail on the PC, at least with Thunderbird at any rate.

I can receive emails on a programme called logicmail h ttp://www.blackberryinsight.com/2007/11/30/logicmail-for-blackberry-free-pop-and-imap-email-client-for-blackberry-devices/

I followed the configuration instructions by gmail.

While I can receive emails, the emails I can retrieve are old ones.

I can't send mails out.

For that I think you might want to direct your questions to the developer as this is a third-party app.

Thought it might be a setting error.

It could very well be. I don't know enough about this application to speculate.

EDIT: I'm downloading it now to give it a shot. Will let you know if I find an issue.

Well, it works with Gmail IMAP just fine. Use the IMAP configuration and it works. You need to refresh folders first as the refresh status doesn't do much other than give me unknown error. I did notice that you have to have a good signal strength to send email or else you get unknown error.
I can't try POP since I use the account on my PC and don't want to upset the balance.
