I just installed a BPS on a friends server,
The download is software 4.1.4

I wonder, if the 4.1.6 update can be applied on top ?
But I am not sure.

The only availible downloads are for BES. There are no separate downloads for BPS.
That could mean: There is no update to 4.1.6 for BPS
or: The update is also for BPS.

does anyone know ?

Afraid not, if you did try that, it would ask you to provide a BES 4.1 licence key and then upgrade you to the full BES version.

It unfortunately looks like RIM is dropping the BPS, there have been no updates (bar security updates) in a whlie now.

Such a shame, as it's a very good bit of kit!

I know, that rim is not actively maintaining this Software, however, since its free and has all basic things for getting started, its still OK.
