I upgraded my 8820 today and tried to load a theme that was supported on old ver but not on new and, well, had some major issues. After getting the 8820 functioning on new ver with SUPPORTED theme, all is good except I can't open ANY attachments in my messages folder. I can open attachments in my Gmail account(logged in through the web browser).
I have sent new service books, re-activated on my BES, pulled battery, searched the forum and The Google and still can't fix it. Anyone else have this issue before?

Make sure you checked the box next to BlackBerry Attachment Service in the Application Loader on your desktop.

I've made that same mistake once or twice.

Yep. I caught that.

I did another wipe and let the BES do it's thing. That seems to have fixed things. I will do a restore later and keep my fingers crossed.

Glad it's working again - whatever the issue may have been...
