When I activated BBM on the Z10, I got back my contact list, and also my groups. However, on the 9700 everything vanished.
I did a security erase on the Z10, and activated BBM again on the 9700. At first it looked that all my groups were lost, but, some minutes later they were back.
So far I am lucky that nothing is lost when I switch the Device. But shouldnt it now be possible to receive/send BBM on more then on Device ?
What happens if the PB gets native BBM ? For me that wont make big difference, since I use the Bridge, and then, there is no problem.
But as it looks now, if you would use native BBM on the playbook you would loose your ability to use it on another Blackberry device.
Of course native BBM is not on the PlayBook, yet. Presumably when it is, you will be allowed one PlayBook and one handset connected at a time per BlackBerry ID, similar to the setup with app world. That is my assumption. Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile
Yeah, I would hope so, too. I don't see why it wouldn't or couldn't. Question is how long might delays be. It wouldn't be helpful if you are chatting on the PlayBook but have to put it down and use the handset, and then have to wait for the open chat to catch up on the handset. But who knows exactly how it will be implemented.
