I just got off the phone with T-Mobile and the rep said the 9700 is available beginning Monday, Nov. 16th. The T-Mobile SCOOP I just got in my email today shows the 9700 and I was calling to see if it could be ordered today. Sigh, it'll be a long weekend.

I signed up for the notification and have not received anything. I assumed it would be a notification in advance of when it is actually available and not after.

So either they just don't understand how to build some anticipation, or they're maybe doing some regional rollout.

They should fire the marketing folks at Tmobile. Why bother "revealing" the launch without also telling people that it's out. Zero update at the Tmobile website. You can still sign up to be notified of the release.

I think I received 3 unsolicited notifications on the impending release of the myTouch 3G.

My guess is Tmobile is technically beating AT&T on the release, but doesn't have many units available the first week. I'm going to try for one early in the week.
