Are you saying you can get T-mobile to get your e-mails from Hotmail and transfer it to your Blackberry e-mail?

Sounds good if true but I get too many SPAMs. I may just dump Hotmail and use Gmail from now on.

yep. all you do is enter your addy that you use, whatever one it is (from any carrier) and your email password, and tmo will send the configuration to your phone. there isnt any setup to worry about, just go to your tmo account and enter in the adress.

i would go gmail if i were you too. however, if you like hotmail (still pretty good) you can just get a new hotmail adress. the spam will stop, and hotmail has drastically cut down the amount of new spam that comes through.

i would say though, gmail is nice because it also gives you acess to google talk, and anything else google related. you will find that google has many free services that are really nice.

You currently can't add Hotmail accounts through BIS with T-Mobile.

I use the Windows Live site (mobile.live.com) to access my Hotmail on my BB, works good enough for the time being.

now that you say that, i think hotmail actually doesnt allow external access like it used to, to any sort of device. for that they want the premium subscription. all i say is go google mail.

In agreeance with what a member said earlier in this thread, Hotmail HAS done a great job of curtailing Spam. I use Hotmail LIVE Beta and get virtually no spam.

Unfortunately like someone else also said, Hotmail can not be set up for push e-mail through BIS. When I try to add my account I get this message:

I do have my hotmail account linked through Outlook express at home, and have considered trying to do it that way...but then decided to say screw it, I'm switching to Gmail.

Annoying but hopefully worth it.
