Question 8300/Curve Newbie

Please Login to Remove!

Hi! I'm new to BB and just got a Curve. Setup was no problem. I am using an Apple MacBook Pro and Mark/Space's Missing Sync for BB. I can't get my calendar to sync properly on the first go-round. Tasks and contacts sync, no problem. I've sent off a note to Mark/Space support, but it takes them days to respond. Any ideas?

Welcome to the Forums.

I hope you would get a better response on this over in the Mac user's corner, I am moving this thread there...

I'm using Pocketmac and am have successfully synced my contacts and calendar with no problems. It's a free download so maybe you can try it out. On another note, have you tried tethering your Curve via bluetooth? I'm not sure if you need a special plan or not for Cingular, but I'm on T-Mobile and it should work but it's not.

You may get a faster response in the forums on the Mark/Space site. In addition, I suggest you post any error message that Missing Sync displays - this may be useful for others to post back on if they have experienced the same error.

Are you just leaving it to do its stuff?

I got a message that poped up that I had to respond to...

Did you try first sync overwrites handheld?

Did you double click on the conduits and set each one up on the mac?

Try all that (using the usual back up everything first caution, I swear, every time I get a new PDA I lose about 300 addresses.. )
