Does anyone know if T-Mobile Germany and their product line up reflects the line up of phones to be released in the UK at all or are they seperate?

I'm asking in relation to the release of the Curve 8900 (formerly Javelin) because T-Mobile Germany released the Bold pretty early but it has not come out in the UK for said carrier, it of course is available on Vodafone and Orange here though.

I was previously interested in the Bold and followed its development up to its launch but was considering moving carriers as T-Mobile's 3G coverage isn't as good as Vodafone's and for 3G browsing this is obviously an issue. Since the influx of information relating to the development of the 8900 I've become more interested in the handset and was hoping the 8900 will be released on T-Mobile in the UK as it will not require me to change carriers and with its lack of 3G I will not have to worry about coverage areas. Does anyone have any information in relation to its release in the UK on T-Mobile?

I think the Bold is to be released by TM-UK, when TM-UK are happy with its performance on the UK network.

I've not heard such good stories about VF's UK 3G covreage and performance, but YMMV.

Someone in T Mobile retentions told me that the Bold was certainly coming to T Mobile UK but that it was likely to be early 2009 now. I hope its not going to be 2009 before Orange have it back.

it's in the stores now ... but in very short supply ... 8900 to launch very soon though
