Hey guys, just got word today that even tho it was announced no stores will have stock until dec 12th due to an internal delay... the select stores that did receive shipment was a mistake, and were shipped devices by accident... dont count on getting my in store or on the phone until dec 12th... sorry

I hope they will still ship the phone-in orders. AFAIK, UPS is suppose to be picking them up tonight!

Okay there..... I just called all the stores in WATERLOO and all of them have stock... so I tried to upgrade my "pearl" 20 or so days before my hardware upgrade... no luck haha.... My upgrade comes on boxing day so maybe i'll wait it out and hopefully get some good deals then or tonight I will be making a phone call to customer relations =)

Many Bolds were sold by AT&T before launch. It happens.

That's incorrect information Cory. Mine was picked up by UPS last night and shipped this morning with a tracking number.

My phone-in order arrived today....maybe the early orders got filled. I ordered last Friday.

Yeah, I got mine on Wednesday and I'm in Winnipeg.

Haven't really had the chance to play with it yet though the little bit of time I did have..... simpily awesome! I moved from a Pearl to this and all I can say is what a change. I just couldn't take it anymore with the suretype keypad and I had the Pearl for over a year.

I was oh so close in getting a Bold. A week before going out and buying one I heard about the 8900. Glad I waited!

I got a hardware upgrade early... 5 mths into the new contract (new account also) and i got the 8900. Actually i got 3 of them. Just call till you get someone nice.
