Default Palm to BB

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

First post, fittingly here on the New Members Forum. Just switched from Verizon Palm Treo to AT&T. However, I just got hold of Promo flyer from T-mobile which looks pretty enticing. It's their Holiday Promo offering BB Curve 8900 for $49.99 and Curve 8520 for free, plus Free bluetooth headset with each handset.

My question is wheather or not I should return the AT&T devices and take advantage of the T-mobile offer. Will I be happy with T-mobile service. I signed-up with AT&T because of the "Map" war with Verizon.

Anyway, I live and work in New York and see a lot of T-mobile dealers all around.

Welcome to the group!

Really depends on the tmobile service where you will be using the device. Some people complain about tmobile coverage, and service. For what it's worth, I don't have problems, and I travel a lot. You should ask around among friends, people you work with, anyone using tmobile in your area, and see what they say.

Hey, Thanks!

Most of my friends and people I work with are on Verizon. They seem to be content with their legacy phones and plans. However I see a lot of T-mobile dealrers at the malls, around the commercial centers. and they say that T-Mobile has a solid 3G network in the NY metro area. I guess I have to check out the 3G devices available.
