Re: blackberry desktop software music services failed to load, unexpected error
More than likely your issue. If your trying to load music. Unless you do not have a blackberry data plan then you will have errors with the new DM version with some internet required content. Just in case I included the following.
Digital Rights Management (DRM) is a technology used by content and copyright owners to control access to digital media or hardware or restrict the use of media files for specific devices or circumstances.
The BlackBerry smartphone can play DRM protected music when the music is downloaded or purchased from a wireless service provider. BlackBerry smartphone users can download music in one of the following ways:
xxx8226; Over the wireless network onto the BlackBerry smartphone
xxx8226; Using a desktop computer (In this case, music is transferred to the BlackBerry smartphone through the wireless service provider's music store application.)
Note: There is a maximum limit of 1600 DRM protected music files supported on the BlackBerry smartphone.
Media files that are protected using DRM technologies are transferred from a computer to a BlackBerry smartphone using Media Transfer Protocol (MTP).
The BlackBerry smartphone cannot play DRM protected music from sources other than the wireless service provider's music stores. For example, DRM protected files downloaded using iTunes® or transferred using Roxio® will not work on the BlackBerry smartphone. DRM protected music files from iTunes® can be identified with the M4P file extension.
