A member of an email list has let me know that my posts are showing up as garbled junk in the digests from the list. Individual posts are ok. Apparently, one post came through in digest ok. I haven't actually seen an example, and only the one person has complained. I just changed my subscription to digest so I can see for myself and I'm waiting for first digest.

I'm sending posts to the list via one of my ISP POP3 addresses in BIS. I've looked at a header in a test message and confirmed my initiall belief that the messages are text/plain and go directly through RIM's servers to the listserv.

The only thing I see that could possibly be a lead to understanding the problem is the BIS email is MIME Version 1.0 and the listserv has the capability to set MIME or NOMIME. I don't understand MIME enough to know if this is relevant. (There is also HTML/NOHTML, but the list is plain text.)

Anyway, anyone dealt with this before? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

EDIT: The person who complained about my post is using gmail, for what it's worth. I don't know that it should make a difference and imagine many on the list are also using gmail.
