Anyone have an OTA link for the T-Mobile Zen Theme?

Trying to get it on my GFs Cing red Pearl...thanks!!

EDIT: Actually, any link for the T-Mo Zen theme would be great...i don't mind using DM to install

I think you just need to take the alx file for cingular and replace the one in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\8100-v4.2.0.71_P2.2.0.41 or whatever folder you have. Then delete the vendor.xml file from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader. The run the DM and it should prompt you to update.

If you are not familiar with this process, be careful and do some research first. I am not responsible for what you do to your Pearl, but I provided an overview.

hmm...so i have to install the T-Mo OS?? there is no place to just download the theme? i would like to just add the theme, as opposed to installing a T-Mo OS...but if there is no other way to get that theme on her phone, i'll do it...

If you install the same software as is currently on the device and use the alx the corresponding alx, you won't have to reinstall the device OS

go to the mobile.blackberry.com site on the Blackberry Browser and download the Today Zen theme (I think that is the name).

and FYI, you aren't reinstalling the OS, you are just changing the themes to all themes instead of just Cigular/ATT's.

You know you can just unlock the theme. It's already on the device. I can give you a link to directions. Just PM me

Uhh, no it's not, not unless you load it on by modifying the blackberry.alx file. It may be in the software package, but it doesn't get loaded on without that modification, and once it's on the device it can be activated.

Yea so it's on the device already, you just have to unlock it. Plain and simple.
Meaning you already have the OS with every theme built in there. All you have to do is modify the axl file. So you can't download it from anywhere.

It's not on the device though, it's on you hard drive until you tell DM to load it on.

Well if it's the blackberry.axl file is the one getting loaded onto your BB then it's on the blackberry.

Altering the .axl with the right vendor codes just lets you access the themes.

Anyways. we're just arguing semantics

Altering the alx loads the themes on the device. End of story.
