I ordered 8900 yesterday through corporate sales and they promised it would be in my hands on or before Thursday. 1 year contract for $250 after rebates and discounts. Plus $19.99 for expedited shipping.

Be careful about the rebates. The last time I upgraded to my curve I also only re-upped for one year. They provided me with a rebate that indicated it was only valid for re-ups of 2 years. I sent it in anyway and they were able to put it through, but technically if they went by the fine print I shouldn't have gotten it. I think I also ordered early enough that the rebate forms were not yet out for the phone when I ordered.

Ok, this is really strange. I just talked to my local business rep again and said that some business customers are getting their phones this week and she told me that that is impossible, since the phone won't be available until Monday, 1/26 and ship no sooner than that and that no one is getting a phone this week. I don't mind waiting until next week, just find it strange! And I really like my rep, she is the main reason for me and my business to have T-Mobile! She has always taken care of me in the past.

Oh well...

I've got to wait till Feb. It's getting closer though, I can almost smell it. Hopefully my wife will be able to get one ordered before they are all gobbled up. Her $400 discount should come in pretty handy as well....

Yep, mine shipped yesterday too. 3 days early! It was sent overnight, and I should have it my hands in an hour.

Tmo will give you the unlock code if you've been in good standing for 3 months or so, which it sounds like you have.

Yup...was told it would ship on the 26th, but UPS is showing delivery for tomorrow the 23rd, without the rush charge.

Will have the weekend to mess around with it...any good themes out there for the 8900?

Just call Tmo customer service and tell them you'd like to have your phone unlocked. They will ask for your IMEI and send you unlock instructions via email. It's free!
