Arrow No Option to configure Personal Email on my pearl? (Rogers)

Please Login to Remove!

I just purchased an email plan with Rogers Wireless and I came home and went to Setup wizard, Email setup. however, it only gives me two options:
"I want to use a work email account with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server"
or
"I want to skip email setup". No personal email option!? This is pretty frustrating considering I'm paying an extra $20/month (yes you heard that right) for email on my pearl

If anyone has any tips to somehow make the personal email option show up please post your suggestions!

Secondly, my browser does not work it says "Your device does not currently have any Browser Configuration Service Book Entries. Please contact your service provider to enable the Browser on your device." I guess I'll just have to call the buggers about this issue unless someone here knows of a 'quickfix'?

Thanks!

Sounds like service has not yet been activated for you, or service books were not delivered.

Try a hard reset first (pull battery). Also see http://blackberryfaq.com/index.php/H...rvice_books%3F.

AND, an "email plan" is not always a "BlackBerry Data Plan", you don't say specifically which plan it is you got.

Nevertheless, try the tips as directed by AI above and give some time and patience. They don't always activate immediately.

Secondly, my browser does not work it says "Your device does not currently have any Browser Configuration Service Book Entries.
Both personal email setup and Browser Service books are set up through the BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) Website.

Visit this link :www.rogers.com/bis

and create a new BIS account for your device. From this Website you can integrate your existing personal email account(s) and send out the Service Books for the Browser, etc.
