I have upgrade my Storm to 328 recently. Every time I go to remove or add app's DM states that BBerry 5.0.0. Core Applications need to be updated. I let it update one time and it aborted stating I did not have enough memory. What am I missing since I have already updated to 5.0.0.328? And I have noticed since the initial OS upgrade, I have lost ~8-10M of onboard memory. Evertime I do a battery pull I only get ~11M at best. Where before I had ~18M.

I was having this issue two OS upgrades ago which I remedied after reading a blog on Crackberry.

Back up your phone and conduct a low level wipe with BBSAK. Reinstall your OS. The reinstall your third party apps OTA individually. Do not restore them, reinstall them fresh from the source. Restore your BB messenger list and phone book only. Do not restore your settings. Go back through and manually reset all your favorite phone settings.

According to my source, most of your leak issues and conflicts are the result of leftovers when you install over your previous OS and restore all your old lists and settings.

I also suggest you custom install and do not install ANY programs you don't use, such as VZ Navigator, Visual Voicemail, etc.

You can also get one of the various meter apps, such as Meterberry, which will tell you what is going on in your phone.
