hi, am using a blackberry bold 9700. It was bought in the states under AT & T we had it unlocked so i can use it in here manila. I've been using my bb for the past 2 months but yesterday when i sync it using my desktop manager v5.01 it's prompting me to update ( not the OS just for some installed apps)

my question will i encounter a problem if i update this? am afraid that my phone will get locked again to at&t and will make it unusable.

please advise what to do..

If you are satisfied with the current version of OS and apps, just ignore the updates. Also, once unlocked always unlocked.

Moved tot he 9700 section.

I agree with devnull. If the device is working as you want and need, it is, therefore, not broken and doesn't require fixing. The Forum is full of updates with problems or "fixes" that change the way they have their BB set up.

If it works for you, ignore the update.
