My grandson loved the bananaphone ringtone when he was younger... now he's too cool. But that also got some strange looks - like at church or in the doctor's office waiting room.
My wife does a ton of musical ones and assigns them to different groups (family, friends, office, etc.). Her default is "Who Can It Be Now" from Men at Work.

Best Friend - was the audio clip from the end of the Chapelle show "I'm riiich b****!" until I was getting in my car one day and a mother and her children were getting out of their minivan and my phone started to go off. It got to the word "riiich" before I silenced it and I decided that as amusing as that was it probably wasn't the best one to be blaring from my phone since me and my boy talk often.
Whenever my phone rings, it plays the Doofensmirtz Evil Incorporated jingle from Phineas and Ferb (on Disney Channel). No, I'm not evil, but that song is outstanding.
Whenever I get mail, a have a clip from the hit song "She Blinded Me with Science". It's when the nerd screams "SCIENCE!" in the middle of the song.

I use a free program called Ringtone Ripper and make ringtones out of any cd or mp3 I want to. Great program, it allows you to choose where to start the clip and it cuts it to the appropriate length then saves it as a new mp3. And... now that I have a BB, I can simply upload the tunes to my BB instead of having to fetch them from my website.
