i got the info from the website of Remove IT Policy - BlackBerryFAQ

and i tried the method 2, but after the back up of my data i still see the IT policy name: default in the general setting of security option

i hate entering password everytime i try to make a call or do anything on my blackberry!!

can anyone help?

Have you got encryption enabled?

I couldn't disable the password lock until I'd removed the encryption options.

Now I would like to set a password but not have the phone lock automatically. Haven't figured out how to do this yet. Seems to be all or nothing!

It is all or nothing. You can set the lock timeout up to an hour, if that helps...
