Hi guys..

I recently purchased a DLINK DAP-1360 Access Point and for some reason that I can not figure out is that the DAP is not issuing an IP address to my playbook.

The playbook sees the AP, and starts to negotiate with the AP, but it fails at the issuing of the IPxxx8230;
I have a IPAD, three ipods and even my 9900 bold works with the DAP, just not my playbook!..

Anyone have any suggestions??

What security settings are in use on the AP? Also, where is your router?

Hi DC... I have the AP configured the same as my router(DIR-655) expect a different SSID name.. The security is WPA-Personal>WPA2 Only... The playbook as no problem linking up to the router, but the access point, when it starts to handshake for the IP address, I get the "can not ontain a IP address"
Also, the router is in my basement, and the AP on the 1st floor.. The AP is being routed to the router via hardwire as : AP>HUB>DIR-655
