Not sure exactly what you are looking for, but 4.5.0.124 is the latest version.
There may be a v5.0 in the future.

No trick. The RIM servers are very slow.

if you are unable to download 4.5 OS from the blackberry website then there is something wrong with your PC/internet

you need to download it to your PC
install it to windows
open DTM
use DTM to install it to your device

please make sure you do a manual backup first and make sure you pull out your media card beofer the update and leave it out untill update has loaded once successfully

Or RIM servers are extremely slow. I've had multiple downloads fail because of RIM, not my PC/Internet

I did an OS upgrade, but didn't realize I should have pulled my media card. Any reason, other than protecting my stored media? Nothing happed as far as I know to my stored media.

I do have to say, the multiple calendar entries were pretty messed up for a while.

I upgraded OS from V4.2.2.170 to V4.5.0.174 yesterday. It went pretty smothly, with only a few retrys. The main BB use for me is to sync Outlook and the BB, for Addresses, Calendar and Notes. After restoring data from LoaderBackup, I find no Outlook Notes on the BB. I can still see Notes on the PC, but don't know how to restore them to the BB. I'm afraid a Sync will wipe the PC Notes data. And Desktop Manager Restore doesn't show that level of detail.

Help?

A little more research led me to Application Loader in Desktop Manager, where several boxes were unchecked. All is right in the world now.
