Default Shortcuts for Applications

Please Login to Remove!

I used to have a Treo. I liked being able to assign QWERTY keys to an application. Is there a way to do that in an 8300? I have the two convenience keys assigned to applications but wouldn't mind it if there was a way to "speed dial" other applications.
