how can i install the google voice search on the blackberry bold? i tried to search for a download link on the web but could only find news articles.

Are the maps on my bold from google?

Yup, I have it installed and it works quite well. Not that I use it... I'd rather type... Especially if I'm in public lol "Pizza..." (people look over and stare <.< >.> )
