The ability to cache on the the MicroSD card. I know it may not be a big issue with some, but, as a Pearl user this would make a huge difference. We can store pictures on it, why not have the option to store messages, tasks, and BBMaps cache etc.

Also, more video formats support, converting is annoying.

Add me to the list for flash support.

And my #1 request would be TRUE THREADED TEXT. Yes, I shouted that on purpose so maybe RIM can hear me way up in Canada. And I'm talking threaded similar to what Palm and WinMo offers. The two aftermarket products currently available, 3jam and BBText2IM, have some issues I can't live with to be able to use them, but they do have the right concept down about what threaded messaging is.

I'd just like some additional flexibility for alarms. Rather than only 30mins., allow the user to select in 1 min. increments up to one day.

I would love to see BIS get support for folder redirection. I would also like an IM-style SMS Text viewer, too.

I wonder if RIM will actually pay attention to a thread like this. Crossing my fingers...

1. A FREE screen lock feature while in a call, shouldn't be something you have to pay for...
2. A check box place next to contacts for mulitple selections. Is much faster than "add to:" my pos $20 Motorola did this.
3. A camera that shoots at the resolution it promises. MY Moto 1.3MP took better pics!
4. all of the above mentioned.

  1. Please, a faster browser. It's just too painful. It pains me to browse this forum on my phone.
  2. More control over icons then just "hide" and "show all"
  3. Ability to see my tasks on home screen instead of a phone call log (which I find useless)

1. Threaded SMS
2. Flash Support
3. Simultaneous Vibrate and Ring
4. When creating a new contact from a phone number, ability to set which phone number is default (currently defaults to work)
5. Add email to Calendar or Task
6. Get rid of that stupid mouse cursor in the browser on the Bolds!!!!

I would like to have the ability to synchroniz contacts, calendar and task list on my exchange server like I can do with a Windows Moblie device.

It would also be nice not to need to restart on a regular basis due to memory loss.

Default Alarms

I'm a past
Treo user and the calendar and alarm system are much easier to use.

Right now, I have only an on-off switch for one alarm. I would like to be able to create any calendar event and associate it with a new alarm that will ring (or whatever) when that event schedule arrives.

Simple example, if I want to wake-up at 7 on Thursday, and I have a meeting at ten and a lunch at noon, I want to be able to alarm myself for each of those events.

Fix the compatibility issue with Live Search. It worked fine until 4.6.0.190 came out.

Why can't you just create a Calendar item for each of those and set "Reminder" to 0 minutes? That should work on older OS's. And then on the Bold (atleast with v4.6.0.234) you can create Calendar items as "new alarms" which are simple Calendar items without all the extra options.

Better audio quality when playing music via BlueTooth

Or the ability to have my BB plugged into my car via 3.5 mm jack while being able to make calls via BlueTooth!
