BB 8900 and moto H15, HELP!
Please Login to Remove!
I have a 8900 with the current 4.6.1.241/4.6.1.152 software and i just bought a new moto H15. it will connect and work for about 5 mins then the audio just starts sticking really bad (like the talking comes in at suuuuuuupppppeeeeerrrrrrr slow motion) to the point where you cannot hear it, on my old h700 the issue does not exist so it isnt the phone itself. so it is either
1 this software version isnt compatible with the H15 headset
2 the H15 headset is Dfective
does anyone have the 8900, H15 and 4.6.1.241/4.6.1.152? do you have this issue?

I doubt it is a software issue.. if it were software issue, it would have been with the H700 piece too... I am thinking the H15 you got is perhaps faulty and would recommend getting a 2nd one.

I use this combo and do not have any issues. I rarely have UMA issue with bluetooth but that is all. I would say it is the H15 that might be defective.

so i just bought another H15 and the issue still exists, so it is a UMA+H15=death issue. this really sucks because the 8900 is otherwise perfect and so is the H15 perfect.
It should be noted
1. i have duplicated this issue on two different 8900's (mine and my wifes)
2. with two different software releases (factory .101 and current .152)
3. on two different H15 purchased at two different stores (trying to get two different batches)
i looked around and apparantly motorola doesnt offer firmware updates for thier headsets like most other companies out there? so i have to hope RIM fixes this in another release or i have to find another headset like my old H700 but with noise cancellation.
