I have a strange situation with unread marks. If a user opens a message on their blackberry it synchs and it show as opened in Lotus Notes. However if the user opens a message in Lotus Notes it doesn't reconcile unless the user does it manually. I have checked the ACL to make sure the server has rights. I have check to make sure unreads are replicated to all servers. I have removed and readded these users to the servers. The only variable is the device. Is there a device setting to automatically reconcile vs manual or something else I am missing?

How long are you waiting before determining that it's not working? (It won't be immediate.)
If the user does a "Reconcile Now" on the handheld, does it properly reconcile?

They are waiting 20-40 minutes. When doing the Reconcile Now is does work.

WAD Seriously... I have 1500+ users and this is happening to 2. All others are reconciling without user intervention
