Thank you. The Default Calendar bug was a PITA. Made my calender useless.

Updating now. Thanks for the post. Do we know if there were any others enhancements made in this build?

It is still useless. It may sync with multiple calendars in Google, but just like every other sync product, it will only sync with the default calender and not with the other calendars on the BB. This feature has been out since 4.3 and yet not one product will sync to this. I don't know if the problem with the sync applications or just another half a*sed attempt at a feature by RIM that is not quite implemented right.

I guess it also doesn't sync from the BB to Google Calendar? I tried it with the default calendar on the BB and it didn't appear in Google Calendar. I can see I will be deleting this useless app ASAP.

It syncs fine for me ... You do have to go into options and select the calender you want to sync I get no results with "Default" ... I just check off the calenders I want and hit the button.

Is there say a secondary calendar on BES? I've seen these threads and I'm having no problems syncing multiple Google calendars. But I'm not understanding the issue on the BB end?

Would it be the calendars that show under different email addresses?

What ever calendar you have selected on your BB as the default calender will be the only one that Google will sync with. Defeats the whole purpose of having multiple calendars on the BB if you can't get them to sync with anything.

Yes and the one you have selected as you default is the only one that will sync with any product, it would seem.

Cool. Never ocurred to me that there are different calendars for different email accounts. But now I notice an option for "Select Calendar" from the calendar menu. I somehow have calendar entries from my hotmail account on there, but have no idea how they got on there.

The only calendar I can sync with Google calendar is the @tmo.blackberry.com one. When I change the default to my @gmail.com it dont work. Is that because the default Calendar is set to the default email?

If so that makes no sense and defeats the purpose of being able to change the default calendar from Options>Advanced options> Default services.

Yeah, google mobile updater never found any new updates for me. Had to manually go to m.google.com to get the latest and greatest (?)...

I tried it before and it kept adding duplicate entries for a lot of calendar events. For example, a monthly event would show twice on my BB. Once as recurring and once from 6am to 6am the next day. I uninstalled it and gave up.

I don't understand the problem people are having with the google calendar. I have been syncing my calendar, my hubby's calendar and my step sons calendar for quite some time. I did quit syncing google with outlook because that did seem to generate duplicates, but the google/berry syncs are working great for us.

Works fine for me as well. I get double entries at times which I think it a result of the OS upgrades I've been doing. If I don't mess with things for a while I have no problems.
