Us Cingular folks use 32k. We just assume everyone is as cool as us.

I don't know if you transfered your contacts from your 7520 on to its sim card or not, but in most situations the data and your contacts do not get saved onto the sim card with the 7520.
Well, the problem isn't that I can't get my phonebook information into the 7100i, it is that I can't get my phone number into the 7100i. The 7100i is a left-over I have from a handset upgrade I did for one of my execs, and to have my number on the 7100i, I need to move my SIM into it. Since mine is a 32k SIM from the 7520, I'm out of luck unless I can copy my SIM's info over to a 64k SIM for use in the 7100i.

I haven't gotten a chance to try the RSS trick I was talking about, and I can't remember if RSS will copy anything more than the contact info from the SIM, but I'll post my findings as soon as I have a chance to try it out.

you have to call in or go to a store and have them do a sim swap to switch the service over from the 7520 to the 7100. The service is on that bb sim and can't just be copied from one sim to the other. The 64k sim number needs to be activated by Nextel, in turn deactivating the 7520's sim.

That's pretty much as I figured, I was just trying to see if I could pull it off on my own.

The whole reason I was even attempting this was because of the lack of SMS on the 7520; the 7100i is supposed to be able to handle SMS, according to a Nextel rep I spoke with...
