I was planning on getting a 7520 and using the i730 sim in it.I don't need the data package as the only reason I want the BB is for phone use,calender,to do list because I run a recording studio and sometimes need to check the calender while I'm not at home.I have a pocket pc and my cell phone and a ipod,so I'm trying to cut down on carring everything.Question that I have is will I get hit with the data package eventually even though the sim does not support it cause its a i730 sim.I don't need the data package as I will not be reading email from it or going online with it. If u plan on getting the 7520 u can use the i730 sim in it. It's not recommended, but it will work.

Just remember don't notify Nextel (Sprint) that u got the 7520.

no you cant use the i730 sim in the blackberry 7520. i have tried it and you can not do it. i no everything there is to do with nextel. been working for them for 8 yrs and thats why im a district manager for the new england area. trust me it wont work right

how about if its a 7510 model. i have a i710 and i was planing on doing the same. but with a unlimited data plan "not the blackberry plan" will it work then?!?!?!
