Is there something which actually works if I convert it from an apk to a bar ?
all applications I tried until now, are either not compatible, or just hang.

I found that people say, moboplayer is working. I can load it and it starts, but, I am unable to install the "codec pack" (the ffmepg library).
I tried to download it from the website, but then it just sits in the .mobo/library/ folder.
I tried to unpack the apk and manually place the library in the .mobo/library/ folder, but this does not make it better.

Anony who sucessfully installed a media player sucessful, or who can tell how to make moboplayer working ?

I use Meridian...its not the best but at least I can make playlists.

Is it possible, that this is more a audio player then a video player ?

to be more specific, I look for a video player that has a broader range of codecs the the PB built in player (like xvid + ac3).

95% of any video stuff I have refuses to play with the playbook. Even if since PB 2.0 mkv is a supported container format, I guess the codecs are very limited. With none of the mkv files I have I get more then an error message.
