ok, for some strange reason, today when I get an email containing characters that normally show as intended, this is what I'm getting - it's supposed to be

2" sch 10 24'

what's happened to make this show up? I've checked languages and it's fine, haven't made any changes in anything lately -

was the email copied and pasted from word doc and sent to you? that happened to me.

Have you had this problem with any others before? Also has thus happened before with this particular sender?

I've had this occur both in Outlook/Exchange and my blackberry. the issue was due to the particular sender having a different language specified on their end. I would send them an email, they would reply and some of the characters in my original email were changed. I'm guessing this will occur consistently with the same user but not others.

I don't think this is the case. I forwarded the problem email to our I.S. Department and it came across fine on his Berry - very strange. And I sent it from mine!
