Great idea with ascending volume. It'll be in the next version!
Well, i think this isn't fair for the people who AREN'T Confused. Definitely put the profiles option in and ill buy it. It wouldn't hurt to have the profiles option right? cool looking application but im very demanding when it comes to alarm and yours seems to be missing the profiles option or better yet, include a BB profile instruction and settings for dummies?

P.S. Thanks god someone decided to rebuilt an alarm application that can keep up with these newer OS's. Thank you for taking the time. Love the glassy interface, KUDOS to the BBSmart Team.

Can this program use the alarm sounds that are available to the built-in alarm application? I could only make it look for files that are located on my SDCard.

Maybe I was doing it wrong.

Just set up a dummy recurring alarm, and then disable it (will show as red in the alarms list).

my suggestion...

when alarm goes off, it gives you option to snooze or dismiss

when you highlight, hover over either it turns yellow or white,

to me it's not clear which is chosen,

it would be better if you hover over snooze, and it lights up, brightens, and the dismiss would gray out

and then vice-versa

this way i'd know for sure if i'm choosing snooze or dismiss,

the way it is now, just letters turning color is not so "in your face", so clear

Yup Bleary-eyed at 5:30 this morning, I could not determine if I was hitting snooze or dismiss. This option choice needs to be clearer, more contrast to the highlighted choice.

and how about this,

when you hit snooze, you'd get a drop down menu where your "default" of say 7 minutes would be highlighted, then you'd confirm by entering

OR

you'd scroll up or down to increase your snooze, by 2 minutes, 4 minutes.... so then you could sleep a little more,

so instead of snozing 2x for a total of 14 minutes which may make you late to work

you could change your snooze time from 7 to 9 minutes, EASILY...

This app is awesome btw. I love the interface, the simplicity, the unlimited amount of alarms, and it was priced well. Feel free to use this as a testimonial. One thing, I'm new to your software - is it occasionally updated in the event a new OS breaks it, or to change/add/fix features?

the check for updates link within app doesnt work :(

I for one would like the app to auto load the current alarm set after battery pull. Right now the alarm gets dismissed after reset - not cool :(

Well, it shouldn't "pop up like that", which is what you said... perhaps I misunderstood.

Anyways, alarms that don't autostart (that you have to remember to click the icon for) don't do much good for me.

So what is the bug?

Great app! I really like it. But all my alarms are green and the screeshot in the first post here shows them in different colors. I don't see any way to change the colors...??

Hi daphne,

Right now an alarm will show up as green in the list if it is enabled or red if it is disabled. So really there is no way to vary the colors of individual alarms - I will note however that I think this is a great idea and we'll see if it's feasible to put in with the next release.

Edit: Just noticed in the original screenshots I put up, there is one other colored alarm in there as well in the "Snoozed Alarm List". If your alarm goes off and you hit snooze and then hit hide that's where you'll find this sleeping alarm if you did want to dismiss it before it goes off again (after the snooze period ends)

I installed the trial version and I can get no sound from it. When I hit the test alarm button it says hit ok to stop but there is no sound. I even set up an alarm and the screen changed to show it was going off but no sound. Is there some setting I am missing? Is this a limitation of the trial version?
