So my trackball stopped scrolling to the left and it's really annoying. I disasembled my phone down to the trackball and tried to clean it out as best as I could, but i cant get into the inside part where the moving rods are located in the trackball piece itself. Any suggestions? I think its just gotten too dusty from always being in my pocket. Tried a can of air to no avail as well.

See my thread on changing the trackball color. It has some shots of the trackball.

It's pretty easy to unclip the metal sides that are holding the rollers in place.

a similar thing happened to me last saturday. I called techincal support and they wanted me to call from other phone to receive instreuctions. So, I pushed the trackball and magically it started working. I hope it won't happen again
