Default Newbie Contacts Display Quest.

I searched and couldn't find anything, hope I posted this in the right place. This is my first BB (7100i) and I notice that my contact list only displays the first 11 characters of the name. Is this normal or can it be changed to display the entire name? I also have a couple more questions, do I just start a new thread? Thanks in advance.

My 7100i displays more than 11. Depends on the question. If it falls in a different category, it needs to be placed accordingly.

I don't know if this will help, but I noticed when viewing my call log list, it will display "Unknown Number" (14 characters) but a name that is stored in my contact list will only show the first 11 characters (in the call log as well).
Any suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestion, but my font is already set to 8. Also like I mentioned earlier, it will display 14 characters like "Unknown Number" in the call log, but a contact that is displayed in the log and is stored in my address book, will only display the first 11 characters. Could it have something to do that I copied the contacts to the BB from my SIM card?

I came from an i836, and needless to say I am a bit lost with the BB. There are some other quirks with the phone, but I don't know if it's just how the BB's operate. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
