Pretty much as per the title - I'm looking for an equivalent to 'delicious library' Delicious Library 2 but for windows that allows me to catalog books, DVD's, Music etc and then link that to my BB hand-held.

This will avoid the issue of being in a store, seeing a novel that you like the look of and buying it, then reading the 1st 20 pages only to find out that it's one that you already have.

I've tried running something in excel and then converting it into a note that I can sync to my berry but thats a little tortuous..

For those of you that are not familiar with delicious library then it's a book / dvd / music catalog application...

Any feeback anyone??

I haven't found anything for books. Instead I put my books online using LibraryThing (LibraryThing | Catalog your books online) and then navigate to LibraryThing's mobile website (LT Mobile : Home) when in a bookshop to look up books I have.

I did same thing as dmacd.

That site not only holds libary of book, but also have loads of info!

For example it can show series coverage for books you own. Sometimes it wasn't clear that book was part of series!

I highly recommand buying cuecat so you can scan in books much faster than searching for titles. Use barcode inside the front book cover not on back of book.

ok so I like the look of librarything.

what about music/movies.. I had a look at gurulib which is similar to librarything but covers those sectors too, but really didn't like the look and feel of the app once i'd logged in..
